Award Ceremony Within JSEC's British Soldiers Community

Ulm, Germany - Major General Gerry Ewart-Brookes, Director of the Plans Division at the Joint Support and Enabling Command, awarded the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Medal to all British soldiers in the Headquarters. It is a commemorative medal created to mark the seventieth anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's accession to her throne, awarded to serving members of the Armed Forces and emergency services as a token of the nation's thanks to those who diligently serve the public. Soldiers of the British Army, the Royal Air Force and the Royal Navy were present and proudly received their reward in the course of a medal parade.
