ULM, Germany - On April 10, JSEC had the honor of witnessing a significant moment in leadership transition as Lieutenant General Kai Rohrschneider, Commander JSEC, officially passed the responsibilities of the Command Senior Enlisted Leader (CSEL) from Command Sergeant Major Torsten Steinberger (Germany) to Adjudant-Major Robert Hinger (Luxembourg).

"You really put a mark as JSEC´'s CSEL. You look back on a very successful time here in Ulm", LTG Rohrschneider praised CSM Steinberger's impactful tenure before welcoming Adjudant-Major Hinger, who has served in the Multinational Joint Headquarters (MN JHQ Ulm) already since 2022: "You bring a high level of leadership and experience. I am very happy to have you and look forward to working with you."
In his final address, CSM Steinberger reflected on his journey: "This is the end of a chapter of my life. It was an honor and a privilege serving in one of NATO's most important HQs."
