Fostering the Transatlantic Bond - A Canadian Delegation Visits JSEC

Ulm, Germany - Major General Mark Misener, Commander of the 1st Canadian Division Headquarters (1 CAN DIV HQ), visited the Joint support and Enabling Command (JSEC), accompanied by Chief Warrant Officer Jeffrey Aman. Major General Dariusz Ryczkowski, JSEC Deputy Commander, welcomed them in the Wilhelmsburg Barracks and exchanged information about the command and its current issues.

"I am more than happy to welcome you here in Ulm," Ryczkowski pointed out, "we will continuously enlarge and deepen our network to provide an additional value for the security of our alliance."

Main objective of the delegation's visit to JSEC was to gain a better picture on how the 1st Canadian Division Headquarters can support deployed operations within NATO and to better understand JSEC's role as functional command for enablement and reinforcement by forces.

"We foster the cohesion of the alliance by strengthening the transatlantic link," Ryczkowski added.
