Narodowe Święto Niepodległości and the Open’er Festival in Gdynia, Poland

Narodowe Święto Niepodległości is the National Day of Poland, celebrated on November 11, to commemorate the anniversary of the restoration of Poland's sovereignty as the Second Polish Republic in 1918.

We continue to celebrate the National Days of our member Nations in 2021 by introducing one of our staff members and unveiling some facts that are usually not found in any travel guides.

Did you know the city of Gdynia hosts a huge music festival every year?

A most recognizable and international festival is the Open'er Festival in the suburbs of Gdynia. This huge music festival which takes place in the city since 2003. Every summer it hosts the biggest stars of various music genres, such as Coldplay, Pearl Jam, Bruno Mars, Depeche Mode, Pink, Rihanna and many, many more.
