SHAPE 1* Logistics Conference in Ulm: "Logistics serve as the backbone of any military operation"

ULM, Germany - On April 8, JSEC had the honor of hosting the SHAPE 1* Logistics Conference for the first time at the headquarters in Ulm — an important milestone and a unique opportunity to bring together logistics leaders from across NATO.
Logistics is a challenge for delivering credible deterrence and defence

Chaired by Brigadier General Roberto Ramasco, SHAPE Support ACOS J4, the event focused on strengthening ACO-wide logistics efforts and fostering shared understanding and practical solutions for the complex challenges we face in today's dynamic security environment.

“We came together to discuss the logistics challenges and opportunities within the NATO framework. In a world that is becoming increasingly complex, the importance of efficient and adaptable logistical infrastructure for the security and defence of our nations is more evident than ever," said BG Ramasco. “Logistics serve as the backbone of any military operation. This event provides a platform to exchange knowledge, discuss new concepts, and foster cooperation and trust among NATO nations.”
