Ulm, Germany, March 23, 2022 – Representatives
of more than twenty NATO member states and Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe
(SHAPE) came together for a meeting of the Joint Support and
Enabling Command's (JSEC) Senior Policy and Resources Committee (SPRC), the
highest decision-making body of the JSEC.
The SPRC is authorized to decide on all matters concerning the administration, policy, manning, as well as operational and financial issues of the JSEC, including the annual budget. Due to Germany being JSEC's Framework nation, the German Ministry of Defence is the responsible authority to run the panel.
Major General Dariusz Ryczkowski, Deputy Commander of the JSEC, welcomed German Brigadier General Peter Mirow, Chairman of the JSEC SPRC, in the Wilhelmsburg Barracks' meeting venue and emphasized the importance of the SPRC and the topics to be discussed in the course of the meeting.

"Today's SPRC was an excellent opportunity to continue building the relationships between JSEC and our contributing nations," explained Ryczkowski, "These relationships are essential to the success and continued development of JSEC as a NATO Headquarters."
Focus areas of the committee's discussions were JSEC's coordinating role in the projection of forces, its Reinforcement and Sustainment Network, and the future structure of the Headquarters with the Standing Joint Logistics Support Group being merged with JSEC.
The second SPRC meeting of the year is scheduled for November, dealing with budgeting issues for the year 2023.
