Slovenian Brigadier General Miha Škerbinc visits the Joint Support and Enabling Command

Ulm, Germany, 16 April 2021 – The Commander of the Slovenian Force Command in Vrhnika, Slovenia, Brigadier General Miha Škerbinc, visited the Joint Support and Enabling Command (JSEC) in order to establish contact between the two commands.

Lieutenant General Jürgen Knappe, JSEC Commander, welcomed BG Škerbinc in his office and informed him about current developments, structure and the ongoing evaluation exercise of JSEC as part of the NATO exercise Steadfast Defender 21.

The Force Command of the Slovenian Armed Forces (SAF) provides the conditions for appropriate planning and direction of all military activities in the Republic of Slovenia and abroad. Slovenia currently deploys a Staff Officer in JSEC’s Plans Directorate.
