Today, 6^th October 2020, U.S. Colonel Phillip J. Borders arrived at the Wilhelmsburg Barracks to reinforce the command as Assistant Chief of Staff for Military Engineering.

JSEC Commander, Lieutenant General Jürgen Knappe, welcomed him, “I am more than happy to have a high ranked officer from the U.S. in my team!” Prior to his assignment at JSEC, Colonel Borders took command of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Alaska District at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska. Here in Ulm, he will also be the Senior National Representative of the United States Armed Forces.
