The Queen's Official Birthday and Kendal Mint Cake

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II was born on 21st April 1926 making her 95 years old this year. However, in the UK, since 1748, there has been an additional 'official birthday' to enable National celebrations in the summer.

We continue to celebrate the National Days of our member Nations in 2021 by introducing one of our staff members and unveiling some facts. Interesting, surprising, fascinating, amazing, extraordinary fun facts, usually not found in any travel guides.
